A renovation looks finished until the dust settles on the sills, inside the new cabinets, and across the floor the crew just installed. Post-construction cleaning is the detailed pass after the trades are out. We do it in houses and in small commercial build-outs across Metro Detroit.

Rough, final, and what we actually do

Builders sometimes talk about a rough clean and a final clean. We do the detailed clean: dust off horizontal surfaces, inside empty cabinets, fixtures, baseboards, and floors, plus sticker and film removal from windows and appliances when it comes off without damage.

We need the space broom-clean of scraps and the trades finished in the rooms we are cleaning. We are not a dumpster service and we are not the crew that hauls drywall offcuts.

What we will not take on

We do not abate asbestos, disturb lead paint, remediate mold, or clean active construction while sanding is still underway. If a pre-1978 Detroit or inner-ring house has peeling paint or a material you suspect is hazardous, that is a licensed abatement question, not a cleaning quote. TODO: do not add any remediation claim later unless a real certification exists.

Questions about post-construction cleaning

Can you clean a room that is still being painted?

No. Paint has to be dry and the crew has to be out of that room. Dust from a sander the next morning undoes the visit.

Do you clean new-build houses in the townships?

Yes, when the house is ready for a detail clean. Newer phases in Macomb Township, Canton, and Shelby Township are a common request alongside renovations in Detroit, Ferndale, and Royal Oak.
